About Peoples

As employees, you've probably heard a bit about our company's history. Since our founding in 1885, Peoples has been providing Western Pennsylvania with clean, safe, and reliable natural gas. We've been a key part of the fabric that makes up this region, and today, we are the largest natural gas distribution company in Pennsylvania with nearly 700,000 customers in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky. But we're so much more than that; we're also a company that is passionate about Making Your Life Better.

So then, what really makes us Peoples? What makes our company tick? A lot of it comes down to you. A company is built by the dedication of its employees, so it's really no surprise why Peoples has been around for over 130 years. We see your dedication every day—you work hard, bring new ideas to the table, and above all you care for our customers and our communities. And for that, we care about you. Never forget that what we accomplish as a company is a direct result of what you accomplish as an employee. And that by working together, we can continue to make lives better.
